St. Martin Daily eSIM — Never Run Out of Data

Daily-renewing data plan for your St. Martin trip: choose 1GB–10GB high-speed data per day and the exact number of days you need (1–30 days). Once your daily high-speed allowance is exhausted, speeds are reduced — maps and messaging still work, unlike fixed-data plans where connectivity drops entirely.

Using mobile data in St. Martin: local tips

  • Two sides, two dialling codes. French Saint Martin uses +590, while Dutch Sint Maarten uses +1 721. Save local contacts with the full international code, especially for transfers across the island.
  • Café Wi-Fi is for customers. Restaurants and beach bars in hotspots such as Orient Bay and Grand Case offer free Wi-Fi, but it’s meant for customers, so buy at least a drink while you’re online.
  • Emergency numbers. On the French side, dial 112 for any emergency, or 15 for an ambulance, 18 for fire and 17 for police.
  • Check coverage maps. France’s telecoms regulator Arcep tests mobile networks in Saint Martin, including 5G, and publishes coverage and measured quality on its “Mon réseau mobile” website.
  • Watch the hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June to November; follow updates from the World Meteorological Organization and the US National Hurricane Center.

Checked against official sources in September 2026. Services and coverage change — check the app or operator before you travel.

FAQ

Depends on your chosen plan: 1GB/day → 1 Mbps; 2GB/day → 1 Mbps; 3GB/day → 1 Mbps; 5GB/day → 512 Kbps; 10GB/day → 512 Kbps. After that, you stay connected until your daily high-speed allowance resets.

eSIM plans for St. Martin connect via Orange. Your device automatically selects the strongest local network; 5G is available where supported by the carrier, otherwise 4G/LTE applies. The specific carrier for each plan is listed on its detail page.

Daily plans provide a fixed amount of high-speed data refreshed each day (e.g., 1 GB/day). Once the daily high-speed limit is reached, speeds are reduced but connectivity remains — the full high-speed allowance resets the next day. Fixed-data plans end completely once exhausted; additional data must be purchased.

Essentially similar to "unlimited" plans on the market: you always stay connected, but speeds are reduced after exceeding your daily high-speed data allowance. We clearly state the reduced speed for each plan so you can choose the right one—no vague marketing.

Select the exact number of days for your trip — from 1 to 30 days. Pricing is per day: travel for 5 days, pay for 5 days — no need to overbuy a 30-day package.

1 GB/day is enough for maps, messaging, and social media. 2–3 GB/day if you frequently watch videos or make video calls. 5–10 GB/day for livestreaming or sharing a hotspot with your group.

For most plans, validity starts from the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination—you can safely install it at home before flying. Exact details for each plan are clearly stated on its product page.
