Morocco Daily eSIM — Never Run Out of Data

Daily-renewing data plan for your Morocco trip: choose 500MB–10GB high-speed data per day and the exact number of days you need (1–30 days). Once your daily high-speed allowance is exhausted, speeds are reduced — maps and messaging still work, unlike fixed-data plans where connectivity drops entirely.

  • Speed after the daily cap depends on the plan: 1 Mbps on 2GB, but only 512 Kbps on 500MB, 1GB, 3GB, 10GB. A bigger plan doesn’t mean faster speeds once the cap is reached.

Using mobile data in Morocco: local tips

  • Save the emergency numbers. Call 190 for police and 150 for ambulance or fire. Outside towns, the Royal Gendarmerie answers on 177.
  • Train tickets in the ONCF app. The official ONCF Voyages app books Al Boraq high-speed and Al Atlas trains plus Supratours coaches, and keeps your e-ticket on your phone. It works in English.
  • Rabat–Salé tram by phone. The Tram Mobile app lets you buy and validate Rabat–Salé tram tickets on your smartphone — set it up before your first ride.
  • 5G starts in the cities. Morocco’s operators switched on 5G in November 2025 in around 100 cities, with gradual expansion elsewhere. Expect 4G in smaller towns and rural areas.
  • Wi-Fi at cafés and airports. The Moroccan National Tourist Office notes that many restaurants, cafés and airports offer free Wi-Fi — ask when you stop.
  • Ride-hailing with care. The UK government warns that many cars booked through ride-sharing apps in Morocco may be unregulated and unlicensed. With a petit taxi, check the meter is running or agree the fare first.

Checked against official sources in September 2026. Services and coverage change — check the app or operator before you travel.

FAQ

Depends on your chosen plan: 500MB/day → 512 Kbps; 1GB/day → 512 Kbps; 2GB/day → 1 Mbps; 3GB/day → 512 Kbps; 10GB/day → 512 Kbps. After that, you stay connected until your daily high-speed allowance resets.

eSIM plans for Morocco connect via Orange Morocco. Your device automatically selects the strongest local network; 5G is available where supported by the carrier, otherwise 4G/LTE applies. The specific carrier for each plan is listed on its detail page.

Daily plans provide a fixed amount of high-speed data refreshed each day (e.g., 1 GB/day). Once the daily high-speed limit is reached, speeds are reduced but connectivity remains — the full high-speed allowance resets the next day. Fixed-data plans end completely once exhausted; additional data must be purchased.

Essentially similar to "unlimited" plans on the market: you always stay connected, but speeds are reduced after exceeding your daily high-speed data allowance. We clearly state the reduced speed for each plan so you can choose the right one—no vague marketing.

Select the exact number of days for your trip — from 1 to 30 days. Pricing is per day: travel for 5 days, pay for 5 days — no need to overbuy a 30-day package.

1 GB/day is enough for maps, messaging, and social media. 2–3 GB/day if you frequently watch videos or make video calls. 5–10 GB/day for livestreaming or sharing a hotspot with your group.

For most plans, validity starts from the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination—you can safely install it at home before flying. Exact details for each plan are clearly stated on its product page.
