Cayman Islands Daily eSIM — Never Run Out of Data

Daily-renewing data plan for your Cayman Islands trip: choose 500MB–10GB high-speed data per day and the exact number of days you need (1–30 days). Once your daily high-speed allowance is exhausted, speeds are reduced — maps and messaging still work, unlike fixed-data plans where connectivity drops entirely.

Using mobile data in Cayman Islands: local tips

  • Sign up for national alerts. Hazard Management Cayman Islands runs NENS, a free alert service for hurricanes, earthquakes and other emergencies that visitors can join too. Sign up via the HMCI website before exploring the islands.
  • One number for every emergency. Dial 911 for an ambulance, fire, police or the police marine unit – including dive emergencies that need the hyperbaric chamber.
  • Flag down the bus. Grand Cayman’s buses run from the central depot in George Town and can be flagged down at the roadside; stickers on each bus show where it’s heading.
  • Wi-Fi before you fly home. Owen Roberts International Airport has wireless internet in the Departure Hall, handy for checking onward travel details while you wait.
  • Check the official forecast. During hurricane season, June to November, the Cayman Islands National Weather Service publishes warnings, radar and tropical updates for all three islands.

Checked against official sources in September 2026. Services and coverage change — check the app or operator before you travel.

FAQ

Depends on your chosen plan: 500MB/day → 512 Kbps; 1GB/day → 512 Kbps; 2GB/day → 512 Kbps; 10GB/day → 384 Kbps. After that, you stay connected until your daily high-speed allowance resets.

eSIM plans for Cayman Islands connect via FLOW. Your device automatically selects the strongest local network; 5G is available where supported by the carrier, otherwise 4G/LTE applies. The specific carrier for each plan is listed on its detail page.

Daily plans provide a fixed amount of high-speed data refreshed each day (e.g., 1 GB/day). Once the daily high-speed limit is reached, speeds are reduced but connectivity remains — the full high-speed allowance resets the next day. Fixed-data plans end completely once exhausted; additional data must be purchased.

Essentially similar to "unlimited" plans on the market: you always stay connected, but speeds are reduced after exceeding your daily high-speed data allowance. We clearly state the reduced speed for each plan so you can choose the right one—no vague marketing.

Select the exact number of days for your trip — from 1 to 30 days. Pricing is per day: travel for 5 days, pay for 5 days — no need to overbuy a 30-day package.

1 GB/day is enough for maps, messaging, and social media. 2–3 GB/day if you frequently watch videos or make video calls. 5–10 GB/day for livestreaming or sharing a hotspot with your group.

For most plans, validity starts from the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination—you can safely install it at home before flying. Exact details for each plan are clearly stated on its product page.
