Bulgaria Daily eSIM — Never Run Out of Data

Daily-renewing data plan for your Bulgaria trip: choose 500MB–10GB high-speed data per day and the exact number of days you need (1–30 days). Once your daily high-speed allowance is exhausted, speeds are reduced — maps and messaging still work, unlike fixed-data plans where connectivity drops entirely.

Using mobile data in Bulgaria: local tips

  • Dial 112 without a code. Bulgaria’s 112 line is free, works day and night without any area code, and also relays calls for help in the mountains.
  • Mountain rescue on 1470. The Bulgarian Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service answers 24 hours a day on 1470 from any mobile network. It warns that coverage isn’t good everywhere in the mountains — carry a charged power bank.
  • PSS app shows your coordinates. Install the PSS mountain rescue app before hiking Rila or Pirin: with GPS on, it shows your current coordinates so you can describe where you are.
  • Tap your card in Sofia. On the Sofia metro, pay by tapping a contactless debit or credit card on the blue validators at the barriers.
  • Track trains on BDZ Radar. Bulgarian State Railways’ online Radar map shows where trains are, their timetable and any delays.
  • E-vignette in the BGTOLL app. Bulgaria uses electronic vignettes, with no sticker — the official BGTOLL app sells them for cars.

FAQ

Depends on your chosen plan: 500MB/day → 512 Kbps; 1GB/day → 512 Kbps; 2GB/day → 500 Kbps; 3GB/day → 1 Mbps; 5GB/day → 512 Kbps; 10GB/day → 512 Kbps. After that, you stay connected until your daily high-speed allowance resets.

eSIM plans for Bulgaria connect via A1, Vivacom, Telenor on 4G/LTE networks. Your device automatically selects the strongest local network. The carrier for each plan is listed on its detail page.

Daily plans provide a fixed amount of high-speed data refreshed each day (e.g., 1 GB/day). Once the daily high-speed limit is reached, speeds are reduced but connectivity remains — the full high-speed allowance resets the next day. Fixed-data plans end completely once exhausted; additional data must be purchased.

Essentially similar to "unlimited" plans on the market: you always stay connected, but speeds are reduced after exceeding your daily high-speed data allowance. We clearly state the reduced speed for each plan so you can choose the right one—no vague marketing.

Select the exact number of days for your trip — from 1 to 30 days. Pricing is per day: travel for 5 days, pay for 5 days — no need to overbuy a 30-day package.

1 GB/day is enough for maps, messaging, and social media. 2–3 GB/day if you frequently watch videos or make video calls. 5–10 GB/day for livestreaming or sharing a hotspot with your group.

For most plans, validity starts from the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination—you can safely install it at home before flying. Exact details for each plan are clearly stated on its product page.
