Brazil Daily eSIM — Never Run Out of Data

Daily-renewing data plan for your Brazil trip: choose 500MB–10GB high-speed data per day and the exact number of days you need (1–30 days). Once your daily high-speed allowance is exhausted, speeds are reduced — maps and messaging still work, unlike fixed-data plans where connectivity drops entirely.

Using mobile data in Brazil: local tips

  • 5G in cities, 4G in small towns. Standalone 5G now reaches around a thousand Brazilian municipalities on TIM and Vivo, fewer on Claro — and “5G in a city” usually means only parts of it. Expect 4G in smaller towns.
  • Amazon roads are mostly offline. Anatel data shows only about 5% of federal highways in Amazonas state have 4G. Download offline maps and translation packs before road trips in the region.
  • Tap to ride the metro. Rio’s MetrôRio accepts contactless Visa, Mastercard and phone wallets at the turnstiles, and São Paulo Metrô lines 1, 2, 3 and 15 have accepted tap-to-pay at every turnstile since September 2026.
  • Pix is for local accounts. Brazil’s ubiquitous Pix QR payments run between Brazilian bank accounts, so most visitors can’t use them directly — carry a card that works abroad.
  • Uber payment and sign-up. Uber in Brazil accepts cards added to the app, Apple Pay, PayPal or cash — select cash before requesting a ride. Make sure your home SIM can receive the sign-up code by SMS.
  • Theft protection needs a CPF. Brazil’s official Celular Seguro service can block a stolen phone and banking apps, but it requires a gov.br login with a CPF, so most short-stay visitors can’t use it.

FAQ

Depends on your chosen plan: 500MB/day → 512 Kbps; 1GB/day → 1 Mbps; 2GB/day → 1 Mbps; 3GB/day → 1 Mbps; 5GB/day → 512 Kbps; 10GB/day → 512 Kbps. After that, you stay connected until your daily high-speed allowance resets.

eSIM plans for Brazil connect via Claro, TIM, Vivo. Your device automatically selects the strongest local network; 5G is available where supported by the carrier, otherwise 4G/LTE applies. The specific carrier for each plan is listed on its detail page.

Daily plans provide a fixed amount of high-speed data refreshed each day (e.g., 1 GB/day). Once the daily high-speed limit is reached, speeds are reduced but connectivity remains — the full high-speed allowance resets the next day. Fixed-data plans end completely once exhausted; additional data must be purchased.

Essentially similar to "unlimited" plans on the market: you always stay connected, but speeds are reduced after exceeding your daily high-speed data allowance. We clearly state the reduced speed for each plan so you can choose the right one—no vague marketing.

Select the exact number of days for your trip — from 1 to 30 days. Pricing is per day: travel for 5 days, pay for 5 days — no need to overbuy a 30-day package.

1 GB/day is enough for maps, messaging, and social media. 2–3 GB/day if you frequently watch videos or make video calls. 5–10 GB/day for livestreaming or sharing a hotspot with your group.

For most plans, validity starts from the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination—you can safely install it at home before flying. Exact details for each plan are clearly stated on its product page.
